so tired =___=
My eyes hurt
Left the city
and all the contaminated air
went to a town called Antigua
its old
very old and historical
When the Spanish settlers first arrived to central america
they came here and built their city
in the middle of 3 volcanoes
after a season of heavy rain
one of the volcanoes that was holding huge amounts of water in its peak
couldn't contain it anymore
and the natural dam broke
flooding the city
The city remains the same
it look like the Spanish still lived here
we stayed in my aunt's summer house
its beautiful
and the decoration in side is just amazing
very colorful and traditional
there are pieces of art from all around the world
we didnt get to look around much
we just arrived at the house to drop our things off
you can see one of the volcanoes from the roof 
the house has 3 gardens
in the middle of the house is a small garden
with a fountain
After leaving our luggage at the house we decided to eat out
I was against it at first
too tired
we had to walk
so much
we went to this small restaurant
smelled like delicious bread
yet i saw none
I wanted some traditional food
but they had none
DISAPPOINTMENT!!!
I wanted steak
or soup
something grilled
but I had a burger u__u
had avocado and alfalfa
they had birds all over the place
so big and colorful
I wanted to take one home
we walked around to see places and stores
the volcanoes are so big
and so close
you can see all 3 of them while walking down the streets
I want to go up one
but im not healthy enough to hike
makes me sad
After going to the market
my aunt took us to another museum of a national artist
who won a Nobel price in 1967
sadly, I was so tired I did not pay attention
and cant recall the artist's name u___u
It is way up in a mountain
even though we drove there
we had to walk after a certain point
The sculptures were amazing
the murals were colorful and carved in the mountain
the person who bought the land decided to build around the mountain
making it into a museum
most of the mural are about how the Spanish killed and robbed the natives of their land
there are also sculptures of jungle animals
that can be find in the country
There were some sculptures of fat boys
flying
hanging on trees
they were my favorites overall
Once it started getting dark
we went back to the main city
decided to have some coffee and cake before dinner
went to a cafe called "Cafe Barista"
they do cute coffee art and have great lattes
I had a vanilla chai latte with a strawberry cheese cake
Best chai latte I have ever had!!!
The city looks so beautiful at night!
We parked our car in front of a cafe
But the walls were covered with these interesting paintings
We Found out the owner and artist was not a native
But a white guy
It was really curious
I asked if he sold his paintings
He said $1,000
And then began laughing
He told us a story about how people call anything now a days art
And sell worthless paintings for millions
So one time he decided to paint a stupid portrait
He got drunk and began to paint
When an old couple passed by and were so amazed that they decided to buy the painting
He told them $1000
Just to see if he could get away with it
The couple agreed
And waited for the painting to be done
When the man told him to add some blue
Annoyed he told them to at least pay half at the moment
The man gave him $500 cash on the spot
After a while the lady said " oh my lord that looks like the virgin marry."
He said he thought the old couple were crazy
But they bought the painting anyway
He had one very interesting set
Of Romans in American flags crucifying Jesus
And one of the virgin marry wearing an American flag attending jesus
I'll probably post the story about this another day
He also made hand made ice cream
It was freaking delicious!!!!
