Good Grunge

Didn't look good in the day, don't look good today. It is always nice to blame someone for horrendus fashion trends and today I will blame Marc Jacobs. Why Jacobs? Even tho "grunge" was not his original creation, he certainly introduced it in to the world of high fashion, and we all know how Perry Ellis responded to such fashion statement; they hated it. They had all the right to, it is awful, it is not fashion, it is anti fashion. (but i wont even get started)

However, trends live in a revolving cycle, they're here today and gone tomorrow just to be reborn again in 10 years. The youths of today have certaintly found comfort once again in old clothes, plaid, denim, and "vintage" prints. The grunge style is slowly creeping in to mass clothing shops like H&M and F21 but it's been on small boutiques in Berkley and Height st for about half a year now, but it is here now. The summer of 2013 is the time for kids to pretend they are deep, cultural, ecentric, and rebellious.

I might personally hate "grunge style" but sometimes I do have to credit those that actually make it very presentable. Fashion to me is about flattering not only your body, but also your personality. So here are some shots of people who i will (shamlessly) label, "Good Grunge"
