When I was a kid every know and then
my mom, dad, and brother
we would all go on long drives
somewhere, to some place
I cant remember where, but we would go to far places
and my dad always played the same cd
and I recall this song always playing
it was my favorite because it talked about Michell
That's my mom's name.
Now I laugh
Who would have known that 13 years later things would be so different?
I guess that's what people live for,
to look back and recall only the good times
in order to continue living
hoping for more happy times
to remember during the sad days
